The Cowshed Blog No.2 We are OPEN!

We did it! We opened and what a time we have had!

We knew opening a shop at this time was a leap of faith, but that leap has paid off and we have been thrilled that so many of you have come to see us in our new home. Now don’t get us wrong, there were absolutely times where we wondered if the shop would be finished, if the stock would arrive, and the inevitable worry no-one would come, but you did come, and everything was fabulous.

We really wanted the shop to feel like a fun and safe place to be, somewhere different to enjoy and a place to revisit again and again, so it was designed to have enjoyable features. From the “grass” floor to our piles of fluffy sheepskins, we wanted a tactile feel where you can browse peacefully and take time to appreciate our gorgeous products in their home environment.

The whole family has had a hectic time over the Summer holidays, with three generations mucking in to get the job done, I could not be more grateful to my parents, my husband and my little ones for their patience, hard work and cheerful dispositions !

We are so grateful to everyone who came to our opening, and to those coming in the next few weeks, for all the kind words, enquiries, and messages on social media and for the general warm feeling we have thanks to all of you. We can wait to see you again soon!
