The Cowshed Blog: #1 The start of new things!

Welcome, hello, we are thrilled to have you! What a busy and chaotic, yet productive, time we have had recently; we have never been a company to do things by halves but we really have outdone ourselves. How, you ask? Let me tell you....

Like all great things, it started as a fleeting thought at the washing up bowl; "Wouldn't it be great if we had a new shop and a website to go with it, slick and aesthetic yet oh so classically country?" The seed had been planted, the days passed and the seed was watered and before long the wheels were in motion, and as I write this I am watching the shop coming close to completion! Within a few short weeks it has gone from a bare, spare patch of grass to a beautiful building ready to be filled with even more beautiful things, for you even more beautiful people to come and see. Of course the path of true love was never smooth, and so we have battled with wet ground, followed by ground so dry you would need diamond to crack it, delayed deliveries and all the other fun stuff that comes with building an empire, but it's okay. Even Rome wasn't built in a day and we all know the best things come to those who wait.

That being said, the wait was not passed idly, instead we have also been working to build a fabulous new website. The Hayley Hanson brand is something of a life's love for me, so I absolutely knew I still wanted to be working on that, but also being a huge fan of collaboration and sharing the success of and with others, Hanson and Co was born. Now fear not, you can still get all of your Hayley Hanson classic loveliness at www.hayleyhanson.co.uk, BUT if you are looking for stand out homewares, or countryside classic pieces for your interior design dreams then you’re in the right place already! We would absolutely love to meet you though, and we are delighted to be able to welcome you to the grand opening of our shop, the date is set for 20th August 2021 and we could not be more excited. It really has been a labour of love, and one which we all hope you will enjoy as much as we do.
